We messaged John around 7 pm looking for a place to stay night to avoid traffic. John responds and says he has a room available for me and two others. When we arrived, we asked John if there was a spot outside where we can hangout for the night as it was still early. He said yes and showed us the spot. We were just sitting down listening to music from our phone when John approached us at 10 pm and told us we had to leave. He threw us out at 10 pm with no explanation. Simply said he didn’t feel comfortable with us and threw us out. It is now 11pm and we are on the street after we were pretty sure we had a place to stay. We paid upfront, were respectful, bit apparently we made him feel “unsafe” for some reason. Please consider choosing a different place if you ever stay in this area. It is pretty clear that only “white people” make this man feel safe…
Almost got scammed by this guy. Price was $64 online but tried to charge $125 for a stay until 9am. Careful!!
Amazing home on the beach front of playa corona.. rooms are very comfortable, with balconies having AMAZING views of the beach. Jonny's hospitality is amazing.. he would bring up pre-breakfast coffee to enjoy on the balcony.. Definitely recommend a stay here to relax and enjoy the stunning nature only 1.5 hours away from Panama city
